Awards:

1998-99 San Francisco State University – Artist in Residence

Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship.

I spent one year working at SFSU in California. I enjoyed the opportunity to focus on a new body of work, stimulated by being in an American culture. In 2000 I returned to San Francisco to exhibit my work at the Washington Square Gallery. The scholarship was funded through Rotary International, who give people a unique opportunity to study abroad. I was invited to write a guide on behalf of Rotary scholars for future applicants, and was on the interviewing panel for scholarship applicants.
